RhyGaze AG closes series A financing

A major moment in our efforts to bring vision restoration closer to patients: the IOB spinout, RhyGaze AG (www.rhygaze.com) secures 86 million USD series A financing from Google Ventures, Arch Venture Partners and F-Prime Capital, along with 11 million USD initial investment from BioGeneration Ventures and Novartis Venture Fund from an earlier seed round. 

We are also delighted to welcome gene therapy pioneer, Dr. Katherine High (formerly co-founder, President and Head of R&D at Spark Therapeutics) as the CEO of the company.
